Jim Goldie is one of Scotland’s longest established and most successful racehorse trainers. He has held a dual purpose licence for 25 years and trained 600+ Flat winners and 200+ Jumps winners all from his family owned yard at Libohill Farm Stables, Uplawmoor, near Glasgow.

Jim has trained race winners at every grade and distance on the Flat and over the Jumps and at raceourses located across the length and breadth of the whole country. His big race winners include Indian Spark, Orientor, Hillview Boy, Hawkeyeethenoo, Jack Dexter, Euchen Glen and Sir Chauvilin on the Flat and Lampion Du Bost and Endless Power over Jumps.

2018 has seen Jim have one of his most successful Flat seasons ever with wins from Euchen Glen in the John Smith’s Heritage Cup at York, Tommy G in the Stewards Sprint Handicap at Goodwood and Sir Chuvelin in the Qatar Summer Handicap at Goodwood.
